Pregnancy Update *4 Months*

I am 4 months pregnant!! I can hardly believe how fast the time has gone. I have been keeping this one a slight bit more on the quite side. But it doesn't make us any less excited. This pregnancy has been so easy (knock on wood) and I hope it continues and is a sign of things to come with this baby girl! I haven't been sick hardly at all. I feel great almost all of the time besides, headache, stuffy nose, irritability (especially when I am hungry:D), and I am ALWAYS tired!!! But David does so much to help me out and has such great patients with me.

But as for things to come with this pregnancy. We had an appointment with a specalist on February 10th. Which is when we found out it was a girl. I know that is early but she wasn't shy and it was VERY obvious that it was not a boy. (I will post those pictures later) We are getting more and more excited every day and can hardly wait to meet her. But anyway, the specailist check me out and becuase we do not know why Brantley came so early their isn't many ways of preventing this one from coming early. I currently have a 25% chance of coming early and there is really no way to prevent it except for a progesterone shot. She told us that about 1 in 5 women actually need this shot but because they have no way of testing to see if I am that ONE that they just give it to everyone that has a risk. But she said that there are two down sides. 1. It is a weekly shot that I would give myself every week in the bum and it is very painful and 2. I have a 5% chance of having a still born birth. When she said that my heart just dropped. I know that 5% isn't a big chance but it is still a chance that I don't know if I am willing to take. She also said that she wasn't a true believer in it but that she isn't against it. She told us to think about it and let our doctor know. But besides that everything looked great and she is growing great.

David and I have been thinking about it alot and after a blessing we have decided that I am not going to take the shot. I feel that everything will be just fine with this baby and with faith and prayers I will go forward with that.

But anyway 6 months left!! We are so excited. I don't know where we are going to put her we would love to find a bigger place but Provo is expensive and we are poor so we will probably just stay where we are at.

One of Brantleys favorite games

Brantley loves backing up when we say "beep beep" I also caught him saying a few animal sounds and a train sound!! He just cracks me right up!!

A Valentines Day Treat

All week David has been so excited to tell me about our Valentines plans. He would say "do you want to know what they are?" or "I want to tell you. Can I tell you?" of course he wouldn't but the night before Valentines he told me. (so we could get a baby sitter) He got me tickets to go see LADY ANTEBELLUM!! I was so excited. We went, or rather met, Davids sister Jenny and brother-in-law Jared. Lady A had Thompson Square and Darius Rucker opening for them but We were really late and only got to hear some of Darius who was great. I love my hubby he sure spoils me!! We had a wonderful valentines day!!!

I loved watching all the cell phones and lights

This is everyone singing together. They sounded so good!! I loved the whole concert!! Thanks hunny bun!!!

Also Brantley and I gave Daddy some candy a new shirt and a new hat!!! It wasn't quite as nice as what David gave me but he still liked it!!:D

Ducks and Fish

Brantley LOVES being outside and anything that lives outside espically ducks and fish!!! So we often go to the BYU duck pond and walk around the nice board walk and feed the ducks.

After we went to the duck pond we drove to Cabelas to see the fish

He LOVES watching the fish

Then we went upstairs and enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Cabelas cafe then went back to look at the fish

David hard at work

So every few months David goes up in a plane to fly around looking for birds that have collars on that they haven't been able to find in a while David is on the right.

This is a co-worker of Davids named Ross. It was his first flight!

What a lucky guy!! He loves his job and I don't blame him!!!

Someone we are going to miss and fun pictures of Brantley

This was the last vistit from Brantleys nurse Margaret. She has come to see Brantley every month since we got to bring Brantley home. She was a heaven send for me. She was my personal go-to-lady when I had any questions about Brantley and his development. She came to our home every month to check on Brantleys progress. She also always brought a scale and a measure for Brantleys height. She stayed for as long as we needed her and sometimes I had a lot of questions and she was there for over an hour and a half. We are really going to miss her visits. But we are so gratful for all the help and advice that she gave us. Our fun little guy! I can't believe how big he has gotten and what such a little personality he has.

Brantley will hardly NEVER sit longer than 2 minutes for anything unless it is reading a book

This is usually what I get when I ask Brantley to say "cheese"

He was just chillin by his toys

Look at Brantley and daddy both wearing hats!!!

Brantley still LOVES his bath times. We went through a phase where I couldn't even get him in the bathroom when the water was running but he is back to his usual self and loves getting in and spending as much time in there as we will let him.

Unless you pour water over his head and then he is ready to get out!! Funny boy

Brantleys New Camp Chair

We were walking in Cabelas the other day and we just couldn't resist buying Brantley his own camp chair since it was on sale.

He hasn't quite figured out how to sit in it yet but he will and I am sure when he does he will love it!!!

Christmas

This year for Christmas we stayed at my parents....which is what we usually do but it was so much fun this year with a little man to open presents and to get excited about. For my family party we did the natavity and Brantley was a sheep...

Brantley and his little cousin Corbin were both sheep and were so cute they were so fun to watch in thier big sheeps costumes. Also Emerson and Bryant were shepards and wiseman along with all of the other cousins. Except for Lilly and Bradley...they were Mary and Joseph.

Aunt Keri was trying to keep all the kids in line with their parts

After that we got to open presents

Brantley got some new bath toys (cars)...which he loves

this picture is courtsey of one my my nephews that had my camera and got David doing a funny face

The grandkids all LOVE Grandpa

Later we looked for a pickle on the christmas tree

We all had lots of good things to eat

CHRISTMAS MORNING

The traditional picture on the stairs

Brantley unwrapping one of his presents...he wasn't to interested we had to do most of it for him. He just loved running around.

He got a new walk around play station from Grandma and Grandpa Smedley...he loves to dance to the music it plays. He also got many other things as did David and I but my camera died and I dont' have any pictures. But it was a great Christmas. We loved being able to spend so much time with family.

My little helper

Brantley is always a good helper of pulling things out of cubbords and drawers but today he was a really good helper of getting mommy a q-tip...or maybe a whole bag full After this we put locks on our bathroom drawers:)

THANKSGIVING SUPRISE

David and I had a great Thanksgiving! But I was on a kick for a while of forgetting my camera and when I did have my camera I always forgot to take pictures so these are the only pictures I have of Thanksgiving day!!!
