Today I had my 38 week appointment. I wasn't really looking forward to it because last week nothing had changed. I mean I am always excited to hear her heart beat but the week before I hadn't dilated more and I left feeling discouraged. Today, even though I had been walking all week and doing what I could to help bring on labor I was afraid that the doctor would tell me once again that nothing had changed. But today I was devastated to find out that I hadn't dilated or thinned out anymore AND the baby has turned and is now breach. The chances are very slim that she will turn and so my doctor has scheduled a c-section for next Wednesday. We have another appointment on Monday to see if anything has changed, just in case, and if my some miracle she has gone back to head down we will continue waiting it out to try for a vbac. But otherwise we will have a baby on Wednesday. We have been praying for me to have a vaginal birth but it just not might be in my cards. But whatever happens I will just be happy to have her here safe and healthy. We are very excited to meet her.

The Zoo
We love love love the Zoo. And one of Davids sisters is in town so we took her and
her 3 girls to the zoo. We had a lot of fun.
We love riding the ridesThe fun merry-go-round
We went on a perfect day. It was over cast and not to hot. The only thing was that it started pooring but luckily it was toward the end of our zoo visit.
Brantley, Brooke, and Kenzi
Brantley....and his new favorite toy
Cute boy loves when he gets his picture taken. Anytime the camera is taken out he says "CHEESE"
I found Brantley playing his piano the other day
and when he caught me with the camera pointed at him I got this funny face....
the classic "CHEESE"
Brantley loves sitting by the door and he always wants David to sit next to him. So he will go sit down and pat the floor next to him and say "sit, sit, sit"
The other day Brantley got a new toy...and he LOVES it. I have been wanting to buy one but we just didn't have the money. But our Bishop is moving and were getting rid of this and we got it for free.
Brantley loves everything about it...even laying down and going to sleep...okay he doesn't actually sleep but he says "nigh nigh"

Fun with cousins, Grandma and Grandpa Smedleys Homecoming, and Bear Lake
On July 30th David, Brantley and I headed up north to visit some family. Scott and Julie (David's parents) were finally coming home from there 3 year long mission. But Saturday Brantley got to have some fun playing at Grandma and Grandpa Kroegers house.
One of his very favorite things was playing with his cousin Corbin. They are 4 months apart and are starting to play really well together. I love watching these two.
This is one of my very favorite pictures. Brantley LOVES the neighbors dogs and we were all outside when he and Corbin disappeared and it got really quite so I went searching for them and I found them both sitting next to the fence feeding the neighbors dog grass.
Brantley also LOVES my dad.....
Yay for story time!!!
Saturday night David, Brantley and I went to my brother Kirks house to play a little Kuub with them. We had so much fun and at the end Debbie Kirks wife made us all a boysenberry shake. It was delicious. Brantleys face just tells you how good it was and how much we liked it.
SUNDAY:
Driving to the airport to see Grandma and Grandpa
Family waiting so patiently
Everyone was so excited to see them finally appear.
Brantley seeing Grandma for the first time in over a year (besides web cam)
Brantley getting to meet Grandpa for the first time...he is still warming up to both Grandma and Grandpa Smedley but I think he will warm up to them real fast.
My little monkey...
I love Brantley's monkey backpack...and he does too.
One of my favorite pictures of Brantley. What a great 4-generation photo!
We had a great time with all the Smedley family and getting to see Scott and Julie again. We are proud of them and glad that they made it home safe and sound.
We have been pulling out more baby things to get read for Braeley and Brantley had a little flash back to memory lane.
I can hardly believe how big he has gotten and how small he used to be.Monday night Davids family had their yearly bear lake trip over bear lake. Since I had a doctors appointment where we found that I was dilated to a 3 and 70% thinned out we decided that I should stay behind. I sure missed Brantley and David. They were gone for 3 nights. It was a nice little break for me but I was sure glad to have them home again. David did so good taking care of Brantley without me. He was a little overwhelmed the first night but it all worked out and they had a great time. The only thing is the following 3 pictures are the ONLY pictures that were taken and NONE of them include Brantley (Silly David) oh well. I am proud of him for taking 3! ha ha
While David and Brantley were gone over the 4th I spent sometime with my family. I got to go to a parade and a family BBQ. I would have taken pictures but my camera was sent to Bear Lake with David. Oh well we had a great week even if we don't have pictures to prove it.

Waiting....Waiting.....Waiting....
The waiting....does it ever end. I have reached 37 weeks, which is a big surprise. I really didn't think I would make it this far. I am glad to know that I can go full term without any medical help but I won't lie I am getting real anxious. I am so ready to meet this little one, I am also ready to bend over, hold Brantley more comfortably, breath, sleep, and lay on my back and stomach. The waiting is killer. I sometimes feel like I won't ever go into labor. I wish I knew when she was going to make her big appearance, but until then I will just keep waiting anxiously for those real labor pains to start. Bring on the pain, the excitement, and our little Braylee Sage.

****36 Weeks...9 Months****
Well....another week down and I can't believe it. We had a doctors appointment on Monday and I am dilated to a 3 and 70% thinned out. But since David is at Bear Lake until tonight I have been taking it easy because I don't want to have this little one until he gets home. But the doctor said he wouldn't be surprised if she came this week and would be really surprised if I made it past 37. I am not going to lie...I hope I don't make it past 37 weeks either!!!:D Here are some happenings in the past little bit....
* I am ready to have this baby!!! Not just because my stomach has exploded with stretch marks :( but I am getting so anxious to meet this little one.
* This little one is still extreamly active. She has dropped a ton BUT she loves to stick her little toes in my ribs and take my breath away.
* Sleeping and Rolling have become quite a chore....I am SOOOOO ready to be able to sleep on my back ...actually I am just excited to sleep again.... period!!
* I am ready to start exercising. I went to watch my brother and sister in law run a 5k at the 4th of July activities and I am just hankering to get out and move again.
* I have done all my cleaning....ALMOST....we got our carpets cleaned and I was able to deep clean my kitchen and living room...I am still working on my room and Brantleys but Brantleys room is almost done.
* The bassinet is all washed and set up.
Only a few more days....HOPEFULLY....this will definitely be a new experience but we are as ready as we are going to be. We just can't wait to meet our little Braeley Sage!!

Brantley's nasty fall and playing outside
We love going to the BYU duck pond and every time we go Brantley always gives a scare by almost falling in. We have just been waiting for it to happen and it finally did. Brantley moves so fast and he was trying to throw a stick in but got distracted by the people next to him and lost his balance and went head over heals. It was not a soft landing. In fact the only thing that actually make it into the pond was a foot. He used his head to brace his fall on the stump, rock and dirt. The poor little man. One of the worst feelings I have ever had watching Brantley fall over and disappear from sight. But after I got him out we came home to take a bath and he was all smiles.
It looked like someone had put two little holes in his head. So sad!
But he is doing good and has gone back to the pond without any fears.
Playing outside
We don't have the best area to play outside but I took Brantley out to the parking lot the other day to let him stretch his legs before bedtime. He just cracks me up. In the video he would run his bike off the little curb and run a little with it then have to turn around and carry it back. He did this multiple times. I just barely caught the last run on video.
