Provo City Easter Egg Hunt and Easter

I thought David and I would take Brantley to the Provo City Easter egg hunt. This was NOT  one of my best ideas. We definately won't be going next year. We got there in time for the hunt with time to spare but there was people everywhere. I think it could have been better had they not had the older kids have a false start a half hour early. We found out once we got there that the hunts for ages 4-12 were already over. They had kids start grabbing and they couldn't stop everyone else so come the time for the real hunt to start we had people from 0-12 years old on one little circle. It was ridiculous.
This just shows how crowded it was. All you can see is all people and no grass...

Brantley really was excited to be there

Braylee LOVED being outside and was happy the whole time.
When the hunt started, this was our view....

Poor Brantley only got 3 eggs...but he didn't care. He loved opening them and eating the candy.

He also had fun digging for other gold.....

EASTER MORNING
Brantley has been talking non stop about "the bunny that came to my house". He cracks me up. We had so much fun with these two for Easter. The Easter bunny brought them some great things this year.

Bray got lots of fun new toys and an adorable Easter dress!

Brantleys favorite thing was all the bubbles.

The Easter bunny also hid a bunch of eggs for him to find with lots of candy inside.

We spent the rest of the day with family. We drove to Grandma and Grandpa Kroegers house and went to church with them and then spent a little time outside.

Brantley was so tired and hungry and didn't want his picture taken at all. The little stinker! But he still looked so very handsome in his new outfit.

We also went and visited Grandma Great Chlarson. She is such a cute little lady.

We had a great Easter but we know that it is not all about the bunnies, chocolate, and eggs. We are very grateful for the real reason for Easter. Jesus Christ and his resurrection. He lives and we are so grateful for the gospel in our lives.
