Update....

So David and I have finally hit our finals week. HOORAH!! As of today we both still have 4 left. So the next two weeks are going to be filled with quite a bit of stress, but come April 30th life will be so, so wonderful besides the fact that I am going to be missing David like crazy. So he finally found out what his days are going to look like and for the month of May he will leave May 4th and will be gone for two weeks, then he will be back for a couple of days then he will be gone for another two weeks. Oh boy am I going to miss him, but I am filling my days with lots of things so I will be busy. Life is good, just super busy. I am feeling much better. I don't know what I had, but I can tell you that the insta care people were the most unhelpful. I think that I had the full blown flu I had all the symptoms, and the best part is...I lost 6 pounds for being sick! Not a healthy way to loose weight but hey I am not going to complain. So like I said, life is good and we are happy!

Something to be greatful for what I have...

Today I went to a place called the Food and Shelter Coalition. It is a place that provides many services for the homeless, and low income families including haircuts, a place to do laundry, breakfast, lunch, dinner and many other things. Today I went and helped prepare and server dinner. It was a wonderful opportunity, something that I have never done before but while I was there it just made me appreciate how much I have. I have a good job, a excellent apartment, a wonderful husband and amazing family and friends. I have been given so much, it is amazing how much doing service for others helps really helps yourself.

Spring.....it does my heart good!

I was walking outside today, in the sunshine, when I realized how much I have missed the sun, and the warmer weather, and the green grass, and the birds, and the bugs, and leaves on the trees. I find it amazing how much the sun has an effect on my perspective and moods...everything. Being outside gave me a new hope for the future. I CAN finish this semester and I CAN pass all my classes. Just seeing the sunshine and everything that is effected by its light, the life that it gives I have looked at my own life and realized how much I have been blessed. I have so much to be grateful for! My life is wonderful, I have my share of struggles and heartaches but I know that life goes on and life has so many wonderful opportunities ahead of me and I just need to open my eyes and make the most out of the life I have been given.
I LOVE SPRING!!!

One more thing....

I am married to the most wonderful person. He has been so helpful and has assisted me with every want and need. With out complaint! We went and got juice for me, made me chicken noodle soup, brings me water and juice in bed, went to the store again to get me some Tylenol, offered to carry me from room to room because I get so dizzy and nauseous when I stand up, continues to bring me what ever my heart desires, went to the store again to get some popsicles to see if I could get rid of my fever maybe keep something down. Well my fever went away, but the popsicle came back up only a few hours later. He tells me that he loves me all the time and that I am beautiful, even though I don't feel beautiful and look like a mess. I love you David more than words will ever be able to tell!

Easter and Conference Weekend

I had a wonderful time spending time with my family this past weekend. I went down Friday night, David drove me to Salt Lake where I got on the front runner where my mom, and three of my nephews (Emerson, Taylor, and Hayden) were waiting for me it was fun getting to ride the train with them. Saturday morning I ran over to West Point park to watch my nephew Bradley participate in the city Easter egg hunt. Then Bryon and Keri gave me a ride back to the parents house where we had breakfast of pancakes, bacon, sasauge, and lots of fruit and after everyone was done eating we had an Easter egg hunt, my mother is so clever she has a different color of egg for every grandchild. so that way every child gets the same amount of eggs and they only search for one color. It was so much fun, but so cold! I felt bad David couldn't be there, I missed him but next year I am sure he will be there. The rest of the day was spent listening to conference, and finishing up getting things to put in Davids Easter basket. However, that night I did head over to David's sisters house for their tradition of going to Deseret Book and spending a little time in there, and then going back to Jennys house to make little pizza's and wait for the boys to come home from the priesthood session. After I love all of my in-laws! I couldn't have asked for a better family! Easter morning brought good things to both David and I. David had a basket for me full of a lot of my favorite things he had given me candy, and makeup, a new watch, V8 juice. YUMMY! I love him! I got him an easter basket with a new shirt, a new book, utility knife. I kinda went for the more practical things that last more than 5 minutes, but I did put in some fruit snacks and some whoppers. We also got an easter basket from my parents filled with all kinds of wonderful things (thanks Mom and Dad), and to top it all off my mother made my favorite Sunday dinner. Roast chicken, with mashed potatos, gravey, corn, and rolls, except we had homemade bread. Which was delicious! What a wonderful conference weekend to be able to be spiritually uplifted and spend time with family! We are so blessed!

Well sickness is no fun...no fun at all!!!

Don't worry, I am still not preg! Over Easter weekend I was around family that has been sick, and while I thought I had escaped the sickness Tuesday morning my throat started to get sore, then I got a fever, then diarrhea, then higher fevers. So I went to the doctor. They did one of those rapid strep tests that came back neg, but he wanted to get another one just in case so I am waiting to hear back from that one. But the doctor told me it was probably viral and to go take some ibuprofen and some cough medicine(I haven't had a cold or a cough, or the sniffles for a while, but whatev) So I came home with a 102.7 fever and it just got worse over the night. I woke up at 3:30 and my fever was clear up to 103.something. I don't know about you, but this doesn't sound viral to me. So needless to say I had a miserable night, the next day I couldn't get my fever below 100. so I called the doctors office and they said just continue taking ibuprofen unless my fever gets up to 103 or 104 and I can't get down. So I said okay, that night the vomiting started. I have been pure miserable. The good news though, I woke up this morning with no fever! Sore throat, nausea, diarrhea yes but no fever! Yahoo! I can somewhat function today! Hopefully the doctors will call me back, tell me that I have strep so that I can start some antibiotics so that I can feel COMPLETELY better.

Daivds Internship

Okay, so I had previously mentioned that David got an internship. We have been praying and fasting for a while that he would get one, and he did! He will be, for the month of May, will be down in Vernal (I think) building fenses. He will be gone for two weeks, then home for a few days, then back down south for the rest of the month. Then for the rest of the summer he will be going around the state of Utah working on guzzlers. Which is a water retention holder, and Davids job is to go to these guzzlers and put up motion detected cameras to see what kind of animals it attracks. I am going to miss him terribly, but this is such a good expirence for him. We are so exited, and we have been so blessed! Thanks to everyone who was praying on our behalf for David to get his internship.

Who says field trips are just for kids???

Well David went on a field trip a few weeks ago. He left me all alone and went to play in the desert for the weekend!:) I missed him so much, and it was just a small taste of what this summer will be like....pure lonelyness! Anyway, David has a ball. I asked him to take my camera and take lots of pictures, and he did! The following are just a few of what he got to see an expirence. What a beautiful sunrise!

They were on a hike, and some chose to go through this slit in the rock. Daivd chose to go around!

they caught all kinds of animals including this lizard

and this mouse...
and this mouse...
They also set out a whole bunch of traps to catch animals...this particular box didn't catch any animal...just it's poop
What beautiful country!
and the whole time David was gone I was worried about him...and for good reason. As they were traveling back on of the back tires blew! But thankfully they were protected and they were able to get the tire changed and back on the road quickly. He made it back safe and sound! I missed him terribly! I am so glad he is back and I am glad that he got to go! This field trip was a really good expirence!

Do you ever wonder what David and I do in our spare time when we get home...

StudyStudy!

Study!!

Study!!!
We are not into our last month of school, Thank Heavens! I tell you what, this has been one of my toughest semesters, but David on the other hand is doing awesome. I will be so glad for the end of the semester so we can spend more time together...oh wait...nevermind. I won't be seeing David much during the summer. HE GOT AN INTERNSHIP!!! Which is a blessing in so many ways but at the same time. I am going to miss him...it is going to be a long long summer.
