Little man...or should I say big man!!!

He is getting so big...

It is so hard to believe that he was so small once upon a time only weighing in at 4 pounds 6 ounces and how fast the time has gone and how big he is getting, he is currently about 18 pounds!

On another note

He is doing so good with real food!!! He LOVES bananas, peaches, sweet potatoes. These are the things that he will actually open his mouth for. He also has learned how to hold his own bottle. We are so proud of you Brantley. We love you!!

Brantley's new thing

So lately Brantley has been doing a new thing and it just cracks me up. He is clicking his tongue. he just does it over and over!! Cute little man!!

Also here is Brantley with his friend Lauren...she is so cute and I have fun watching Brantley when he is with any other baby or children. He just loves watching and talking to them.

Oh man our little guy is just getting to big to fast....

He is sitting all by himself with out help

Some of the latest...

Brantley is getting big for his swing....he has always reached for the little animals that rotate on above the swing and he finally got them. When I caught him doing this, this was the face that I got...



Caught red handed...

Brantley and real foods....we are working on it!!! Brantley is now eating real foods. He eats fruits and veggies 3 times a day. Green beans and peas are not a favorite. I have also discovered that he has a very sensitive gag reflex. The little stinker doesn't open his mouth very well and tries to be very helpful with getting the food in. It all makes for a messy feeding time. But how can you get mad at a face like this? He has also tried carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, apples, and peaches. I love this little man!!!

Sleeping

Its official now...Brantley is sleeping in his own bed. For the past two nights he has slept in his own bed and I have done suprisingly well with it!!! When he sleeps he has to sleep on his side. Just like me!!! He cracks me right up!!

Brantley's New Toy

We got Brantley a jumperoo!! He LOVES it!!! The seat rotates all around with toys on all sides and music that plays. He stays in it forever!!!

He played so much that he just got all worn out and fell right to sleep.

7 Months Old...holy smokes

7 Months old where did 6 months go? I can't believe how big he is. Here are some of his most recent activities.

*Weighs 17 pounds 5 ounces
*in the 50th percentile for weight, height, and head
*rolls over both ways
*shakes his head back and forth when he is tired
*rubs his eyes
*loves his feet
*loves to sleep on his side (just like his mommy)
*has the most sensitive gag reflex
*gags and sometimes throws up when ever you put something besides milk into his mouth to eat
*talks all the time
*usually talks back when you talk to him
*puts everything in his mouth
*loves to touch faces
*is starting to be able to sit up by him self
*can feed himself with a bottle...just chooses not to so mommy and daddy will do it
*eats 6-8 ounces
*Loves being outside
*Smiles at everyone
*only laughs for a few select people
*His gums are swollen...teeth are coming so very very soon

He is growing like a weed. We love him so much he brings so much joy to our lives!!! We are so glad that he is our son and of the knowledge that families are forever!!!
