**7 Months**

Wow how times flies! I can't believe I am already at 7 months!
Here are a few up dates since month 6
*I am getting bigger...YAY!!
*I took the glucose test and everything turned out great...I had the orange and it was good. I expected something disgusting but it really did just taste like uncarbonated orange soda.
*I am going to get a shot at the hospital tomorrow because David is O+ blood type and I am O- which means our baby could have the opposite of me which could also mean my body could build antibodies to the baby, it wouldn't be a problem for this pregnancy, but it could possibly be for the next so I am going to go get a shot to fix that so we don't have a problem in the future.
*I haven't had much swelling...anywhere. My ring still fits and so do my shoes! Thank heavens
*I feel the baby move all the time...I am still waiting for the ability to distinguish between feet and hands, bum, and head.
*I go potty....ALL THE TIME
*I do find my self short of breath quite often...even if it is a quick walk up some stairs
*I still miss my sleep
*David and I are getting so excited!!
* The baby's room is coming together, we have decided on a John Deere/farm theme!!
* I love when people tell me that I am getting big!
*I love being pregnant*

Life in the Smedley household...

Here is a little up date on us...
Camille: I am still enrolled in school, but I did drop one of my classes. Thank heavens. I am so glad I did. I think I am going to like this semester. I like my classes, they are tough, but good. I just hope that I can make it to the end of the semester before this baby decides to come. I also have changed my major AGAIN. This time I changed it from Accounting to Finance. It is actually less required credits but along the same line as accounting but I think I am going to like it lots better.

David: David is still liking his major and job. What am I saying he LOVES his job. In fact, it isn't a job it is play. We also love the fact that he has almost every Saturday off and that he is home so much more. David has been so helpful around the apartment too. I don't usually get home until after 7 to 7:30 and he is usually working on dinner or has it done for us, and has washed a lot of the dishes! I love him so much! He is so good to me!

I was reading a friends blog the other day that has just recently got married. She talked about how much she loves the married life and how she doesn't understand what people are talking about when they tell her that the first part of marriage is hard and transitional. This got me thinking a lot about David and my first year and how hard it was for us. As I look back on those times I realize how we really struggled, there were a lot of factors that went into it, but I look at us now and how happy we are. I have come to really appreciate how difficult that first year was. Not only did it help me in my communication skills (or lack there of) with David, but I also grew to love him more and appreciate him more. I never knew I could love someone so much as I love David. He is my best friend and I can't imagine life with out him. That first year was full of hidden blessings. I wouldn't change anything. I love my life with David and I can't wait to add on to our family.

Strawberry Jam Anyone????

David has been asking and asking me to make strawberry jam. I have been waiting and waiting for strawberry's to come on sale. They finally did, so I called my mother and David and I went up to my mothers and she helped us make jam. This was a first time for me and it wasn't near as bad as I thought it would be. It was actually quite easy. Thanks for all your help mom!!

the finished product!

After we had finished putting them in jars my mother made homemade bread. It was so delicious!! We are so glad to have this jam!! Thanks again mom!! I love you!

Happy 22nd Birthday to Camille

So this year my birthDAY was pretty much like any other day. I woke up did some dishes, did some laundry, and worked on homework. Then I went to school. Although I did leave from class a little early, which was GREAT! I came home and surprised me with these... I am in love with children's books. I love them all, and I am working on building our collection. So David got me 3 children's books, the Mockingjay, flowers and candy. I love him! We then went and got KFC for dinner and watched a movie. What a wonderful day to end the day. The next morning I woke up and found these on my door from our wonderful neighbors the Baxters....
DAVID AND I LOVE THEM!!!! Thank you so much Baxters!!
My sweet in-laws gave me a wonderful gift also, thank you for the money and the beautiful mirror from Vietnam.
My parents blessed me with some new clothes. Well my sweet mother made me some clothes. A new LONG skirt (so I don't have to shave my legs every time I want to wear a skirt now) and it is stretchy enough that I should be able to continue to wear it for the rest of the pregnancy. She also made me some new pj's. Thanks Mom!
The day after David took me to Olive Garden for my real birthday dinner since I didn't get home from school until late. We love Olive Garden! Thanks hunny!
Thank you to everyone who helped make my birthday such a special one!
A couple of weeks ago David got a call from his Uncle Scott and his cousin Jordan. They were going on a hike and asked David to go. David tells me they had so much fun and looking at the pictures it looks like it too.
Here is Jordan
