24th of July Parade

These past couple of months have been crazy busy but filled with so much fun and family! On the 25th (really celebrating the 24th) I talked David into going to the parade with me. He usually doesn't like to go but he loves me so much he was willing to sit through it with me. I thought it would only be about an hour but he turned out to be a little over 2. WOW!! Anyway we met some family there and had a great time...Brantley loved it so much he fell right to sleep!:D This was his first parade he has gone to and he fell asleep...he will probably be like his daddy and not really like parades either. Ha Ha!

Marsh Lake

This year was a little bit different with my usual family camp out. We usually have 4 families plus my parents but this year there was only David Brantley and me, Byron and Keri and their 3 kids and my parents. It was fun being with them but we sure missed Cameron and Celika and Kirk and Debbie and their families. But this was Brantley's first real camping trip. And he did awesome. We all slept in my dad's wonderful trailer, which proved to be a little challenging at times will all the children and naps and things but it worked out great. Brantley was a trooper. He loves being outside. I think he will end up being just like his daddy! We went on a couple of geo cashes (their treasure maps with GPS'). We love them. We watched a movie our last night there and did lost of fishing!
The mosquito's were horrible but they didn't even phase Brantley. He just loved being outdoors. Can't wait until next year...he will be a hard one to keep up with.

Fathers Day

I can't even express how much I love David and the father he is. I am so grateful for all he does for Brantley and me. He is the best father in the world.

For this fathers day I got him a book called Basic Country Skills. It is a books that is just a help to having a county life. It has helps from planting a garden to building a deck. He loves it and we use it all the time even though we don't have a house right now but he have a garden and it has helped us a lot.

Brantley also gave David a present. We made him an apron. David LOVES to grill and so I made something that we can continue to add to with each child. On this apron he has Brantley's hand print and his two feet prints and how old he was on his first fathers day. With the next child I will do the same thing with them on the same apron. David loved it!

A little bit of family time...

Just a little relaxation time just chilling at home!

How Brantley likes to sleep...

There have been a few nights where David and I have had to go in and unstick his feet and chubby legs. He cracks us right up.

Oh how I love this little man!!!

This is one of Brantley's new favorite things. Shaking his head back and forth. He has also started screaming. But I love listening to it!! I love this little guy more than words can say! I am so glad he is mine!
