Dear Hunt and the first of Brantley's birthday celebrations

This year was a great success with the deer hunt. I got one about an hour after my two brothers pretty close to them which worked out great!

My deer was pretty small this year but I told everyone that I was only going for the meat and size didn't matter...I got what I asked for.

My brother Byron got a nice 3x4. He was so pleased that he actually got a bigger deer this year.

Cameron got a nice 4-point.

Carrying all 3 deer out started out to be good idea but as we got going the weight was starting to bend and so I had to drag my deer. I was sure glad that I got a small deer. Cameron drug it across until we hit the down trail as I took the frount of the cart.

When Cameron and Byron went down to get the cart they brought back one of Cameron's sons Emerson. He was so great. He loved dragging my dear around it was so funny.

This shows how bad the ticks can be....it was nasty and gave me the heeby geeby's.

Birthday morning....Grandma and Grandpa Kroeger gave Brantley a fun ball and cute pj's/halloween costume.

We were going to celebrate his birthday up camping but we decided to do it later

Bath and Bed Time

Brantley LOVES bath time. He will walk with us around our apartment and will lead us into the bathroom, pull back the curtain and look inside and back at us. Expecting us to start the water.

Brantley also does so good with his bed time routine. We still do a prayer, scripture, song, and a story and 9 times out a ten he goes to bed without a peep.

A BIG bump and a funny story

A BIG bump
David and I team teach primary and where we are team teaching Brantley gets to come with us. The other day at church in class and Brantley was pulling him self up on the chairs and walking around

Well he lost his footing and hit his head on the little metal chair connectors

Well he started screaming, our kids covered their ears, and Brantley's head had a huge bump on it.

A funny story

So the other day David was gone all day and I was home with Brantley who had about 3 poopie diapers. After I had fed Brantley dinner I washed him off picked him up and set him on the floor. He started crying so I picked him up again and found this underneath him....

I realized he had ANOTHER poopie diaper and it was obviously pretty bad if it was coming out the side so I went and cleaned him up and put him in the tub. Leaving the mess intentionally on the floor for David to clean up. (He was on his way home so I didn't think it would be to bad to leave it there for a little bit).

Well David took a little longer than thought to get home and I had put Brantley to bed and was sitting on the couch watching some TV. I had forgot about the little mess in the kitchen. When David got home he was talking with the neighbors across the hall who then came in to talk to me.

We all talked for a minute then David walked into the kitchen and I heard David yell "CAMILLE....ARE YOU SERIOUS?" He had gone in, stepped in it, and then wiped it with his finger and smelled it to see what it was. Oops!! Oh well...I got a good laugh the rest of the night!!!

Brantley's 11 Month Birthday

For Brantley's 11 month birthday we decided to go hiking. Brantley was such a trooper. He loved being outside.

We stopped under a tree and had lunch...Brantley really loved eating the dirt and rocks

He got so tired he just fell right asleep while daddy carried him.

Daddy was such a trooper...We had so much fun! This is something we will definitely do again!!!

Utah Womens Expo

I went with two of my great friends to the Womens expo that was held at UVU in Orem. I have always wanted to go and I finally did. They had some great booths

We espically loved the Cornbelly's giant rocking chair

We had a lot of fun going...maybe we will go next year too.

11 Months Old

I can't believe 11 months has gone by since Brantley was born....here are some of the things happening with Brantley

Weighs 21 pounds 4 ounces

Is 29 1/2 inches tall

Eats every 4 hours (3 times a day)

still sleeps from 7:30pm to 7:30 am

takes 2 naps 1-hour naps during the day

crawls everywhere

pulls himself up to furniture and walks around it.

Has two teeth

Wears 12 month shirts

Wears 6-9 Month pants

Is in size 4 diapers

Claps and waves

Doesn't sit through church well

Loves other children

Prefers table foods.....won't eat bottled baby food very much. He wants to eat what we eat.

Has two teeth

Can drink from a straw

Loves attention and we love giving it to him.

Loves books and being read to

We love you Brantley!!!

I love taking pictures of Brantley....how could I not...this kid is cute. So much has happened this month.

Brantley got a new car seat. Still facing backwards. I went to a car seat class that was so informational and so helpful. I just couldn't turn him around.

He still didn't like getting in....but at least he has more space.

He is starting to get into everything.

Brantley LOVES LOVES LOVES looking out the window and being outside. He especially loves watching people (children) and the garbage truck. He will sit and just look out the window for a half hour no problem.
