I'm so sorry he has rsv!!! that is so sad when they are sick, we will pray for him! as far as hobbies go, you need a sewing machine! there is so much fun you can have with it! You could make Brantley some cute little clothes!
Yes- save your pennies and get a sewing machine. Craigslist has great deals on them. Also, once you have a machine, you don't have to spend a ton of money on fabric. You can make things out of old t-shirts and jeans you don't want. There are a ton of creative blogs out there. How about crotcheting? Or cross stitching? Maybe you could start a weekly playgroup for kids close to Brantley's age so they can have tummy time together and the mommies can have a little adult conversation. I am pretty sure I spurred this hobby thing... sorry!
I am on the same page as you lady!! I got so use to being busy with school, work and my crazy life that I am going a little crazy being home all the time. I'm thinking that I need a gym membership. I love being a mom and taking care of my kids, my sometimes I just need a 2 hour break. As far as sewing goes, I wouldn't know.
I wrote a list of things I wanted to accomplish and started on that list. I got to about 3-4 of those things and got so busy, I don't know if I ever accomplished everything on the list. Sewing is a great hobby. Plus if you find there is something you do well and other people like it alot, you could sell and make some extra money
David and I met at Weber State Univeristy in a chemistry class. David didn't ask me out til the end of the semester, he says that it is because I was still in high school, but I think it is because he was scared. Our first date was April 28 2007, he proposed in November 2007 and we were married January 10, 2008. Our first year of marriage was hard, but as time went on life has only got better. We have been so blessed. We love life now and feel that we have grown closer than we ever could have with all of the struggles and trials that we have gone through. October 24, 2010 we welcomed Brantley Chlarson Smedley into our family. He came 8 weeks early via emergancy c-section. But he is growing like a weed and makes us laugh on a daily basis. Almost two years later, on July 26th, 2012 we welcomed Braylee Sage into our family. She was on time but like her brother wanted to come into this world with a bang. Braylee was also delivered via c-section but she is a beautiful happy baby and we are so glad she is ours. We love our little family and are excited for what the future will bring.
I took on sewing and now I'm hooked :)

ReplyDeletePlus find some piano music and start learning some songs, or practice the hymns and get them really good. Just an idea.
